I'd like to respond to some of thse negative reviews that are clearly trying to smear Southgate's reputation. I first moved in 5 yrs ago with no hope and scared to be out on my own for the first time in my life. As soon as I walked into the leasing office, it was all up hill from there. The staff was impecable and I felt so warm and welcomed. Anything I ever needed was always attended to within the hour and done correct. The staff that has turned over through out the yrs has become some of the best people. I love to just stop in and chat to catch up on our families and upcoming events in their life. I consider them my friends and people I'd love to stay in contact after my departure from Southgate. I would like to specify to people that this is a hard job to maintain as they do it well...the people that move in can sometimes cause difficulty and trash up their own apt area. The staff is the one's who are left cleaning up the mess. The parking lots are cleaned up daily and are well lit at night. I have two children who play outside all the time and I never feel like they are subject to danger within our small community. The pool area is always top notch and for the area of town we live in, you're not going to find any better...I don't know what people expect. I believe the staff does a fabulous job with keeping the rubbish out and upholding a desirable allure to others in the surrounding area. Southgate comes up in a lot of my topic of conversations with strangers and my friends and they NEVER have negative remarks and are amazed that apartment life has treated me so well.
