This place is a disaster! The clubhouse is dirty and even stinks sometimes. The pool is closed about 1/3 of the time and maybe one washer and one dryer works in the laundry center. I made the mistake of renting a washer/dryer for $40 a piece per month and the washer did not work and both machines were extremely old. They showed me a washer and dryer that looked only about 5 years one but brought me an entirely different brand and then refused to take it back. I had to pay for them both for 3 months while I went to the laundromat on Preston Highway. If the fitness center is actually unlocked, the machines are consistently out of order. My 2 bedroom was not only overpriced but was filfthy when I moved in and within the first week I discovered several spiders, a tick, and a randon food stains all over the kitchen and living areea. The manager ingores the residents (unless of ocourse, you are a visitor!) and refuses to get off her butt and do anything and her office gang follows her like a puppydog. I nearly forgot to mention that my personal alarm system did not work, nor did my ice maker, and the door of my refridgerator was broken. I had to repair the door myself because it would not shut and maintenence pretty much does not exist. The grounds can get pretty disgusting as well due to all the trash the tends to accumulate. However, if you visit the area, they will take tell you everything you want to hear and tell you everything is in working worder or will be. Also, the noise kept me up very often as many of the residents are up all night yelling and partying and its hard to feel safe when the lights are never on at night all over the grounds.

I bet you someone(from the office staff) posts a postitve review within the next couple of hours now! I completly agree with you. They need to start cleaning and fixing things rather than playing on the computer all day!!

I think its the same person leaving all the negative comments. i never seen the pool closed unless you go on a Monday the scheduled day for the pool to be closed. washers and dryers in the club house are all new and owned and maintained by a separate company coin mach. the washers and dryers you rent are also owned by a separate company appliance warehouse. and the fitness center can not be locked unless the key card readers are down or you just don't know what you are doing the machines are maintained by schellers fitness and like brand new. i think my favorite post on here so far is when this person said everyone that works there is in mid 30's and 40's and they had to contract out to have there heat repaired lol. the staff maybe posting positive comments on here who cares obviously this site is a joke anyways, the same person can keep leaving negative comments why not the staff leave positive? i am sure i will be accused of working at Southgate, but i don't however the guys are friends of mine. and i am sure if they asked around half the people that live here would get on and post good reviews, but whats the purpose all that would happen is this same little girl would get on here and talk trash. anytime a positive review is left a few hours later a negative is. what if i just start posting random positive reviews just for the hell of it? nah its not worth it neither is arguing with a couple of kids that probably got evicted anyways..
