I rate Stonemill Village best overall for several reasons. I was looking for a place that is well kept, where the people in the community care about their neighbors and a place where I can always feel safe walking to my car. I was looking for a home.

Stonemill provides the perfect comfort level when speaking in terms of family. The staff does a fine job of walking that fine line between running a business and maintaining community and happiness. Maintenance has never been an issue - if there happens to be a problem, it is immediately taken care of.

The only thing that I can complain about is that if there is a maintenance choice between fixing or replacing, an item will be fixed period. This goes back to that fine line between a business and customer happiness.

I've read the other comments and do agree that the the AC unit being located in the family room is a bit noisy but we knew that when we moved in and have learned to live with it.

As a summary, Stonemill is very beautiful year round which seems like a superficial observation but goes a long way to providing a comfortable home.

I strongly recommend Stonemill Village.
