I would recommend this place to upscale residents who want to pay a nice penny for a nice luxuary community. Summit Place is one of the nicest communities in the area...minust the dog poop people tend to leave around certain buildings (10202). Management has tried to deal with the problem but to no avail people, probably the people who left the last reviews, keep letting thier small children go outside and walk their big dog unsupervised. I know The Summit Place staff can't help this problem. You can't control a residnet after they move-in. I think it is pathetic that some one would leave a review such as the previous comment, after knowing things they do are not allowed at the community.

Management deals with each issue in the same manner: graciously. I couldn't imagine taking care of a bunch of residents that act like children most of the time.

Most of my neighbors are nice, but there are a few that aren't, they are snotty and never have a nice word to say. One nieghbor in particular is constantly complaining about stupid stuff...but what can you expect when someone has to have thier "designer" come over and look things over before they move in...not to mention she had to have her walls painted by professionals. Hope she paints them when she moves out!

On the other hand I have nice neighbors that let me borrow sugar and come over to check in on me...to see if I need groceries and such. I really appreaciate all the staff has done for me here. They gave me a nice card and gift when I moved in and they are alwand courtious when I go into the office. I have seen 1 mouse when I moved in but that was it. I have no problem with noise or with the satellite, (guess I must like FOX and golf). I call the office when there is a problem and they take care of it. I have recommended The Summit Place and they gave me money for it. The other people moved in and they love it here. I came up on this site after the leasing person told me about it and I just hope you won't let some unhappy person keep you from looking at what Lousiville's finest has to offer.
