I know two people who used to live at Turtle Creek and I was there a lot, and these apartments were absolutely horrible. The fat skinheads next door would sit on the steps at all hours of the night smoking pot, making catcalls while she walked her dog. The smell of pot would creep in the windows when the ghetto kids would go around back and smoke right below your window. The Africans across the hall had the most foul-smelling food odors (I think food, anyway) and their kids were always playing against the cars. The man who lived above was arrested at least twice for domestic violence in the six months they were there, and on several occasions we could hear the fights and abuse. You even sort of got used to the random gun shots in the middle of the night.

The front windows were broken when they moved in and they were supposed to be fixed but never were. When the management changed halfway through living there, the new manager tried to charge them for the broken windows.

Let's not forget the wonderful maintenance man named FOOTBALL who swore up and down that this and that would get fixed while it never happened. I could go on and on about how HORRID this place was, but in short I will say DO NOT EVEN DRIVE THROUGH TURTLE CREEK.
