If your looking for a quiet apartment then don't move here. The walls are thin and the noise from other apartments is extreme. The selfish person who lives below constantly has his tv and stereo at the highest volume levels possible. The bass causes pictures to fall and vibrates the entire apartment. After dealing with the noise every night for two months I complained to the apartment manager. Their response to me was, he owns a surround-sound, and he's hard of hearing. So I'm forced to deal with extreme noise because the person below is hard of hearing. If the person below couldn't see would I be forced to live without lights''' I think the management's response was totally careless and not helpful. Did the noise stop after the complaint' No, not one bit. I'm counting the days to the end of the lease so I can get out and find peace.

I have had the same experience with the noise factor here.

Noise is the smallest problem at Vieux Carre. The office staff is the biggest problem. With unemployment being what it is they should get fired.
