I have lived here for almost 5 years. The 2-BRs are perfect for roommates. The bedrooms are located on either side of the unit. The bathrooms are off of each bedroom, which is ideal for personal privacy/overnight guests. No traipsing through the common areas to get to a bathroom late at night or early in the morning!
The apartments are still very clean and new-looking. I do wish we had a balcony or patio though. Soundproofing could also be better. I have found management and maintenance to be very responsive to any other issues, however.
I will be transferring to a 1BR soon and, probably because I've lived here so long, mgmt is ensuring that the transition will be virtually hassle-free on their end. I would highly recommend this small complex as an excellent value for the condition and spaciousness.
NOTE: Traffic is a little dicey coming out onto Hurstbourne Ln now that the corridor south of Bardstown Rd opening into Fern Valley Rd and down to I-65 has opened. Makes getting around to points south much easier. But I am continually amazed that, despite the many vehicular and pedestrian accidents, a traffic light has not yet been installed on Hurstbourne between Willow Oaks and Park at Hurstbourne. The area looks nicer since the road construction was completed, but I wouldn't live near there with young children.
