I signed a lease to move in on October 1st. The building hadn't yet passed inspection at that point, so I couldn't move in until mid-October. My hot water didn't work correctly for a week. Now I've been here for over a month, and while I love my actual apartment, there are still things that haven't been completed. We're STILL not receiving mail and the front security gate doesn't work, among other things.

I understand that this is a new building, but they've had months to figure these things out. The management is not being understanding of the residents here and they continue to charge us a full month's rent even though they're not holding up their own end of the deal.

Hopefully Middle Earth will realize that it's bad business to charge full price for sub-par amentities.

The actual units are fantastic - they're beautifully done and well-designed. I would recommend living here, but not until after the first of the year. Hopefully the construction will be done by then and the issues will be resolved.

We did have some problems making the transition from construction to occupancy. We have solved most of the issues and will work diligently tackle the rest. The finished units turned out even better than planned and we think the product is very unique and fairly priced.
