Ashley Woods was the first place I have lived since moving out of my parents home in Georgetown, KY. The day we moved in, Ashley Woods was being taken over by new management. We were a bit skeptical at first but I was extremely impressed with the price (we were paying the old price) and the improvements that were being made.

It was a complete overhaul of the community itself, it was amazing to say the least. When we first moved in, the place looked rather run down and dirty but the work Ramsey Rentals did on the community was great. Not to mention, the management was extremely friendly and accepting of my partner and I. I've had management at other communities make comments or appear visibly bothered by a same-sex couple. It was very pleasing to know we were welcomed.

Staff were always responsive and open to listening to your complaints and concerns. They were always respectful of their tenants, making sure to knock ample times, open the door and call to see if anyone was in the apartment (maintenance/bug guy). They were very professional and polite.

It's within walking distance of many restaurants, there was never much noise at night despite most of our neighbors being college students. The tenants were very friendly and respectful of others and the grounds was kept very well-lit and clean.

Our apartment was not remodeled while we lived there, we decided against it for the time being. We enjoyed paying $389/mth for a 2BR 1BA. It was a nice apartment for the cost, and I tend to be rather high maintenance when it comes to what I expect from an apartment community.

I remember once, our water heat went out and the owner of the property personally came out, I believe it was around 7 or 8PM at night, and took a look at the heater and showed us a temporary fix until he could get his maintenance guy to get the part and come fix it. It was fixed the next day, much sooner than we had expected.

This is by far one of the best places I have lived (I currently live in Hamburg Farms in Lexington, KY) and I even prefer the management of Ashley Woods to were I currently live. I would gladly move back in a heart beat. I would suggest this place to anyone looking for a nice, clean and professional apartment community that's right near EKU Campus and I-75.

ASHLEY WOODS ARE GREAT APARTMENT BUT THE GUY CASEY THAT RUNS THEM IS A JOKE. HE IS TERRIBLE....FIRST HE GIVES ME KEYS TO THE APARTMENT AND I DIDNT EVEN SIGN MY LEASE, THAN TELLS ME THAT HE COULD GET INTO TROUBLE IF I AM STAYING THERE...NOT TO MENTION MAINTANCE ENTERED MY APARTMENT WHEN I WAS NOT THERE PACKED MY THINGS WHEN I HAD PAID FULL RENT BECAUSE THEY WENT INTO THE WRONG APARTMENT. I HAD SEVERAL THINGS BROKEN AND MISSING AND EVERYTHING WAS IN A PILE IN MY LIVING ROOM. IT WAS CRAZY. RAMSEY RENTALS IS A JOKE AS LONG AS THE RED HEAD FREAK CASEY RUNS IT.....MOST PEOPLE MANAGING A MULTI UNIT COMPLEX GENERALLY HAS INTELLIGENCE...HE HOWEVER DOES NOT.

Hey, This is Casey. I don't recall ever telling a tenant they would be in trouble for renting an apartment for me. I definitely don't remember packing anyone's things up right after they rent. If I am responsible for lost or broken items I would like to be made aware of it personally. Come by my office and we'll discuss and resolve the problem.
