I've lived here 1.5 years . There are 6 months and 12 month leases, not 24 or more any longer. Once my 6 month lease was up, the rate went up $15.00 more, so I renewed for 12 months. When that came up for renewal, the rate raised another 15.00. I had to renew.

What really set me off was when I found out a neighbor has not had a rate increase for two years. THIS IS VERY VERY VERY UNFAIR AND I HOPE TO TALK TO THE APT ASSOCIATION OF BATON ROUGE SOON ABOUT THIS OR ANYONE ELSE WHO WILL LISTEN.

Im praying that when the next lease is up, I can move - like the previous tenant said on his post, about the HUGE roaches..... they will run you out of here. I had a roach crawl in my face at 4am in the morning. This is disgusting, humiliating and frightening!!

This is not the quiet place in the forest if your screaming bloody mad or chasing down roaches with brooms and mops or shoes. Wheres the sanity'''''''
