Can't wait to get out of here

This place is just awful. The walls have been re-textured ... A LOT, let's just say. It look's like it hasn't been remodeled since the 70's when the freaking place was built. They are rotten boards everywhere. Since I've been living here (for 2 years now) I've had someone try to break into our apartment, and someone was robbed while getting out of their car at night here. I think a drug dealer lives by me, and the noise is freaking ridiculous. Our neighbors are inconsiderate -------s and we have to call the cops on them at least once a week because the so-called "convenience officer" is ALWAYS on freaking vacation or not answering his phone. If you like to go to bed before 4:00AM, and like to have some peace and quiet while you are studying, I seriously do NOT recommend living here. Don't get me wrong, the rent is a lot cheaper than you'll find at another place, and the conditions are livable, but with all the other factors contributing to an apartment being considered a "home"... its just not that. The flooding in the parking lots are just simply annoying and really inconvenient. They stay flooded for usually 3 days to a week after the rain has stopped and a lot of times I've had to run out in thunderstorms to move my car because the water is about to come into it.
OH AND PS- after the first football game of the 2007 season I was getting out of my car and was sucker punched in the face by a girl who used to work at the front management office of Azalea Point, and her boyfriend, who claimed to be the managers son, got in my face and threatened to beat me up for taking a parking spot. TALK ABOUT WHITE TRASH. I ended up with a busted lip for a whole week and a huge bruise on the inside of my mouth.
Needless to say, I won't be living here after my lease is up and would rather move back in with my parents than live here again. I could go on with my complaints but I think you all get the gist.
One good thing is the maintenance men are really, really nice and friendly. I don't think they like the management here either... so more power to em! :)

i didnt even know we could get in touch with the convenience officer. they've never given me a number to be able to contact him. i just always call the police. and that one maintenance guy, Tyrone or whatever, does not know his ass from a hole in the ground, fyi. i have to specifically ask for the office not to send him to fix anything bc i know i'll just have to call 2-3 more times to actually get it fixed
