Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2009
I moved into AP as my first apartment. It almost makes me want to move back home. I figured it would be cheap and not so bad. The only thing that would suck was the appearance but I could live. I was wrong. The stupid woman Connie at the office is obnoxious. My roomate's mom would call and ask questions and she would be nice to her but to us she was horrible. She tried to make things difficult and when we had problems she would always say "There's nothing I can do.". They make you jump through hoops to live here and you can only pay with money orders or one check. They weren't towing until they realized they were missing out on money and if for some reason your car gets towed, too bad for you. Visitor parking spaces are few and far between. Some places flood really bad. It was really cheap but I would rather pay more than have to deal with them again. When we moved in, the office people assured us it would be painted and restored by the end of 2008 but it appears that nothing has been done but replacement of a few staircases that were probably about to collapse if not replaced. Living here was a bad experience for me. I was embarassed to bring friends here, walls are thin, pipes are loud, and it always seemed dirty no matter how much cleaning we did. Trust me, its better to move further away and pay the same amount than live here.
