Maintenance is a pain to deal and that's if you get them out to fix anything. It took them 3 weeks to come out and replace carpet after the washer they provided us broke and flooded the apartment. They do random housekeeping checks and if they don't think you are taking care of the aparmtment it doesn't matter what you're apartment looks like in the end of the lease, you won't get the deposit back. They replaced the carpet 2 months before our lease was up and I steam cleaned the day we left and they still charged us for carpet cleaning. WOW! It's too close to GSRI, so if you don't have a car alarm you definitely want one. During the school year parking is a pain. You may have to park far away from your apartment and walk. No assigned parking spots and guests usually take up the majority of the spots. Parties do happen and often. Yes, when the bars close, the party is usual at BBPA and that means noise from 2am to 5am Wed thru Sun. The speed bumps don't matter to most, the cars speed through the parking lot. They office fines those breaking the noise violation and when the cops are called, but nothing is ever done about if the fine is paid. If you a college student and don't plan on going to class on Thursday and Friday or Monday for that matter and like staying up till 5am partying, then this is the apartment complex for you.
