The Absolute Worst!

Please Please Please do not move to University House on Brightside! I along with several other residents have had a terrible experience and here's why:

Parking - It's terrible! I lived in the front of the complex so in the mornings everyone parked in the front to be near the bus stop which meant no parking spots for me. If you came in past 10PM you WILL NOT find a parking spot near your building. If you ever have guests they better park in a visitor spot or they will be towed, but that's only if they can even find a visitor spot.

Security - It's not that secure. Do not let the gate fool you, anyone can "Tailgate" there way into the property and several people enter through the exit gate. But that's only if the gates work, sometimes they won't open sometimes they don't close. And we all know the issue about that Danos guy who climbed in through windows. The gate by the bus stop is open so anyone can just walk in.

Office staff- With the exception of Colleen the staff was rude and very unprofessional. They truly made you feel like an inconvience if u have a complaint. Oh and forget about getting your deposit back. I left the place immaculate, even had the carpet cleaned myself and yet they found ridiculous things to charge me for. When I asked them if they could walk me through and show me the damages they said no.

Noise level - Ok now noise is to be expected, I mean hey it's a college community but it can be a little extreme! Espeically the weekends, you can forget about resting and relaxing! Also, don't live towards the front of the property b/c you constantly hear passing cars thanks to the paper thin walls and the train!

Pets - They say pets are not allowed but the complex is filled with all kind of animals. The residents above me had 2!

Computer lab - Internet never works.

Apartments - I lived in a 2 bedroom which I so wish I would have asked to see one before I signed the lease. They show you the model in the office which is very decieving. I knew the 2 bedroom would be substantially smaller but this was ridiculous!

You may think you're getting a good deal but honestly you aren't if you're smart you'll rent somewhere else!
