THE WORST PLACE YOU COULD EVER LIVE

First the leasing office will tell you that they are matching you with people of similar cleaning habits noise, age and interests. But believe me, they are not. They are putting you in a room with whomever is available. They do not care if the people you are living with are completely opposite of you and whether or not you all get along. When you complain to them, they simply say, they don't handle roommate disputes. So if you have problems with your roommates, they don't care.
They are also not responsible if your car gets broken into, something is stolen out of your apartment or if something is stolen out of your room.
They are contact parties and after a pool party, there are beer cans, bottles and crap all over the pool area. It is always loud and the leasing office doesn't do anything about the noise.
I had to get a lawyer and take the management company to court in order to get out of my lease. Although they refused to accommodate me, they refused to let me out of my lease. They will tell you anything to get you to sign a lease. Once you've done it, they could care less how your experience is with them. Oh, and you can forget about parking anywhere near where you live. You may have to park for miles on the weekend and walk to your apartment. There are no rules about noise, parties or anything like that. They don't care what goes on in the apartment complex as long as people are paying their rent.

The apartment complex does have a handbook that they give you with the rules in it when you signed your lease. I agree that residents nor the property managers do not regularly enforce them, but they do exist. As for parking, that is something they do enforce, but only after a certain start period. They give everyone parking stickers so that those without them can get towed on a regular basis, and residents can actually park within the parking lot nearest their apartment. There are designated parking spaces for visitors, just take a right once you cross the bridge, and another right at the first dumpster.
PS, I am a current resident starting my second year living here.
