I have been a resident at Broadmoor Plantation for almost 4 years now and the manager that is working in the office now is the worst manager I have ever had to deal with, and I have been apartment living for over 10 years now. The maintenence crew that she has working under her don't even know how to fix things. I called the office December 2nd, 2007 to report that my thermostat on my central air was not working, you could use it but it would not turn itself off automatically. If you put it on, it stayed on until you turned it off yourself. Well I waited until Dec. 11th and nobody showed up to fix it. I called that same day and spoke to the manager (Bridgett) and she said that she would take care of it. Well I waited again. As of Jan. 2, 2008 no one had showed up to ever fix it so I called the management company who owns the apartments to complain, and that same day it was fixed. I just recieved my electric bill for the month of December (the month they kept ignoring my calls), and it is over $344.00. I am livid. As of May, (lease is up), my family is out of here and I would not recommend this place to anyone as long as it is still the same manager working in the office. I have many other complaints about the maintenence around here but I would have to write a book to fit it all.
