In Baton Rouge, there is a whole book for apartments. However, I've found that this is the most decently priced for the kind of apartment that is offered. My apartment was great on my move in day, as well as the staff. The leasing office completely helped with my every need, from the day I leased until the day I moved in. I've been here for about five months now and it has been a pretty good stay so far. I'm definitly renewing.

I agree that the poster must be an employee. I lived there for six years from 2001 to 2007 and only moved out because the new company that bought it jacked up the rent tremendously. And for what? a gate? Definitely not worth the almost $200 increase they tried to throw on me. Decent price for the kind of apartment offered? Are you joking? who in their right mind would pay $850/month for an 800 sq ft 2br 1 1/2 bath town house with old appliances, tiny closets, zero storage space and in a 30 year old building? And I know it's listed as about 950 sq ft but I measured it myself and I got only about 850 rounding up.

I have been here for 3 years. I have dealt with the good the bad and the ugly. Have you shopped around? I have and the prices here are average now. Things have changed since 6 years ago. Also the new staff, whether they wrote the testimonial above or not, seems to be trying to do as much as humanly possible. I just got anewsletter a few days ago that seems more positive and hopeful for a change. They are doing well and it seems everone wants to say what is wrong, but the new company is coming around. It also looks like they cleaned house recently with employees. They are gettingmore right than wrong lately.
