Ghetto Luxury Apatments

Cypress Lake apartments seem nice but looks can be deceiving. The walls are so cheap that you can literally rub off the paint. Anything can stain the walls, which produces many charges when it's time to move out. My apartment was filthy when I moved in. There was dust piled up, numerous spots in the carpet, teeth marks at the bottom of many a door frame and red stains in my shower. It was infested with fleas from the previous tenant and it smelled like smoke for the duration of our stay. The management does not know what they are doing. They do not communicate with each other, so you will get many different answers to the same question depending on who you talk to. When I would go to the clubhouse for something, I had to stand at the front desk for an average of 1-5minutes before I was helped...because there is noone AT the front desk. They are all in their offices. They towed my car late one night after one of the managers had been watching my car periodically from her apartment window. Yes, I was illegally parked but I was also bringing bags up and down the stairs to my car to go on a trip the next morning. The nearest parking spot was about 50 yards away. I came down to find my car gone and I thought it was stolen since TWO employees from the clubhouse told me that they DID NOT tow my car. I happened to find out by chance from a neighbor that it was, in fact towed. During the school year, don't bet on getting to a computer. There are kids in there ALL THE TIME on myspace and instant messenger even though the rule is that they are accompanied by an adult. And even sometimes, I had to wait for staff to get off the intenet so I could use it. Our leasing agent called us back twice after we signed the initial lease to sign others because they messed it up twice and then fussed at my roomate because we did not clear our schedules to correct their mistake. The trash situation is pretty bad. The dumpsters are always overflowing. Our gate cards stopped working without warning at times without warning as well as the water being turned off at times without warning. You have to drive to the post office to receive packages. Think twice before leasing here. They may seem nice but you surely are not getting what you pay for!
