I have lived at Cypress Lake for one year now. At first I really liked it but I cannot imagine staying much longer and am looking to find somewhere else. I like the location and amenities (Lake, Gym and Pool)but agree with other reviews about the noise from other apartments. I hear my neighbour upstairs moving around, peeing, showering etc.

When at the pool there are various types who make so much noise it ruins your pleasure. Kids are left there unsupervised and they scream and fight with each other. If you make a comment to them to quieten down they give you a deadly look and they are about 10 years old. One family in particular is guilty of this. The sewage leak is getting ridiculous now and everytime you complain the staff just tell you that people are putting things down the toilet that they shouldn't. The things they claim should not be put down the toilet are things that in any other civilized country it is a normal way of disposing of them.
I also think the company who owns these apartment took advantage of the hurricane and jacked up the cost in an unreasonable way. Our rent rose $300 after 6 months as I was told we had been given a discount that did not apply anymore (due to Katrina).
I like the staff who work there though and have found them friendly and helpful. k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S
