I have lived at Cypress Lake for almost a year and half and I am counting down the days until my lease is up. At first they were awesome. I would have recommended them to anyone, but now I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemies.

My new neighbors are my biggest complaint. Since Hurricane Katrina there has been an influx of horrible people in the complex. They are so rude and disgusting that it really disturbs me. They drive there cars all around the complex with there music up as loud as it can go and they are driving aroud 40 mph and they don't stop for anyone. None of them seem to work, but somehow they are managing to pay over $1000 a month to live here. One of the new tenants even threatened my life when I simply asked her if she could be quiter. I work very hard for my money and I am also in college and I don't appreciate being woken up several times a night because my neighbors seem to be hosting the Olympics in their apartment. Not everyone stays up all night!!! Some of us to have jobs!!!!

That brings me to my next complaint...The NOISE! I can hear everything my neighbors are doing including when they are using the bathroom. I have never expereince walls this thin. Music is loud all of the time wiht heavy bass pounding down into my apartment. One of my neighbors is so loud that she was rattling my walls and knocked a clock off of the wall and shattered it. That is ridiculous!

These apartments also have a huge ant problem. I waste so much money on having to throw food away because ants are in it. I also don't enjoy taking a bath with tons of ants roaming around the edge of the bath tub. Yes, it is that gross.

Don't even think about placing a complaint. The management is a joke! The girls at the front have no idea what they are talking about. I tried calling to see what my rent was because it seems to change every month (because management messed up) and the poor girl didn't even know what my rnet was supposed to be or how to find that information. I was told to call back when a manager was there. It has currently been two days and counting about a maintence request I placed about a broken towel rack.

As you can tell, I could go on and on complaining about this complex. Like I said before none of these problems existed when I first moved in. I am not sure what caused all of these problems, but these apartments have really gone down hill and it appears as though they are only going to get worse.

I would NEVER live here again!
