THIS MAY AS WELL BE GOVERNMENT HOUSING - THE PROJECTS!!

I would never recommend Cypress Lake to anyone!! I lived here two months and it was two months too long. The noise levels at all hours of the night are ridiculous. I have 3 small children who had to put up with being woke up in the middle of the night because certain individuals felt compelled to drive through the parking lot at all hours of the night playing their sterios so loud that the bass rattled the windows in our apartment. After only living at the apartment for approximately one month, I was awakened by tenants arguing and fighting at midnight. Police were called and one of the individuals involved was arrested! This community is touted as a luxury/upscale community, but that is a gross inaccuracy. This community may as well be in the 9th ward of New Orleans, because it is absolutely the projects. Numerous written complaints were given to the staff and/or management. Specifically, the manager gave her standard script answer to myself and other individuals whom I know to have filed complaints, that they should expect to deal with this when choosing to live in a multi-unit community. She is a young twenty-something female with absolutely no clue and no business managing this apartment community. The staff deliberatly chooses not to advise prospective tenants of the numerous complaints they have on file regarding the noise and safety issues. They staff also failed to inform me that there was going to be a hotel being built at the entrance of the community. The people that live here apparently do not work all day, and like to party all night. They love to loiter in the parking lots, which certainly does not make anyone feel safe leaving their apartment at night for any reason. The manager's comment to me was that as long as they were paying the rent the best she could do would be to fine them a whopping $25.00 for each offense. How about evicting their worthless behinds! I'm quite sure their income in "pharmaceutical sales" is their only way of paying their rent besides the government assistance I'm sure they also receive. I really don't think they are gonna care one ounce about a $25.00 fine. I chose to break my lease because I absolutely do not have to put up with that garbage. Upon moving out, my husband even found rat droppings behind our washer and dryer! This place and the management are appalling! DO NOT CONSIDER MOVING HERE.
