I moved in about 6 months ago and can't wait to move out.

1. After being told that they would spray for bugs very frequently, my apartment has been sprayed MAYBE once and there are bugs all over. My roommates and I are so quick to shut the doors as to not invite even more bugs in.
2. My bedroom happens to be right next to the outside stairwell, so thanks to the paper thin walls, I hear people walking up and down at all hours of the night.
3. Parking is HORRIBLE. I work at a restaurant and don't come home until about 11pm and the only parking spots left are the ones about half a mile away past the dumpsters. Its not safe for a young girl to walk by herself through a dark parking lot that late in the night, but there is no other option.
4. The front gates are ALWAYS broken.
5. School buses come to the complex and drop off a whole bus-load of kids in the early afternoon. It wouldn't be so bad if they went to there homes, but instead I see them wandering all over the complex until the early evening. Sure, kids will be kids and they should be allowed to play. But when I can't even take my dog for a walk without having about 5 kids run up and scare her by poking and picking her up, thats a bit much. This is an apartment complex, all kind of people live here, its not an afternoon daycare center.
6. The complex is under construction currently and just this afternoon when I was sitting on the couch, I noticed someone outside on my balcony. Being that I was the only one home at the time, it freaked me out, so I slowly looked out the window to find a worker just walking around on my balcony. When he noticed me looking at him he walked to the door, which I slammed and locked, he then asked me what I was doing... after that I shouted, "What are you doing'!" Who is this apartment hiring to work here'
7. Pretty sketchy

I'm sure some people enjoy it here, but I enjoy my safety, privacy and sleep... none of which I get here. SEk1KnECheF1ATXbXtrZ

I am the Manager at Cypress Lake and first of all I would like to apologize for the way you feel about the property, I am not sure if you are familiar with the pest control schedule and retreat program, but if you have any issues they enter all apartments in two buildings each month, as well as a parameter spray around each building a month. If you have any specific issues with pests you may call the main office and submit a retreat request which Orkin will do each Friday. This schedule is posted on the back of each monthly newsletter that is available at the main office. As far as parking issues, there is no assigned parking, we do not wish to force our residents into a parking situation and give them the freedom to park where they wish, as for guests we do ask that they ask guest to park in parking spaces that are not directly in front of the building, just as you are in a roomate situation there are also others in roomate situations as well and while we do have enough spots per apartment we do ask our residents to only have one vehicle per bedroom, some of these parking spots may be further away than a convenient spot in the front of your building. We do have a courtesy officer that lives on the property and he will ticket any individual that parks illegally as well as touring the property on a time schedule while checking for any lights that may be out on our property as well as any abnormal activity. We are a gated community, if there is any malfunction at anytime we will contact our gate company the same day and it is taken care of immediately. As for noise and other residents on our property you must know that this is a multi family property and that if you have any issues with any other residents you should feel free to contact our main office and we will attempt to address these issues. We also issue lease violation fines if the noise occurs from any particular resident on a regular basis. As for the Construction.... it is to help with the appearance of our property and is a step Cypress Lake must take in managing and upkeeping our property. This is to ensure our property looks it's best for all of our residents. We are currently pressure washing and painting every building on our property and it is being done by a highly recommeded company which has done painting on several other properties owned by our management company. We have also issued several letters to each building first warning each resident we would soon start this process and have followed up by sending a letter to each resident as they began work on their building. The workers also took extra precautions by covering personal items on each patio or balcony before pressure washing and painting each building. I do apologize if you were unaware of the Site Improvements that are currently taking place and would like to offer to you an opportunity to come in to our main office and discuss any problems you may have with us. Our job is to make sure your needs are met and we will not know unless you communicate them to us. I do hope your future experience on our property is better, and thank you for choosing Cypress Lake as your home.

This is just lip service from the office....(1) A MEXICAN ON YOUR BALCONY should never happen! A knock on the door is the right thing to do. Took the time time to cover items. Trust me if they would not have taken the time to cover my items I would be taking the time to deduct the damages from my rent check. Ticket cars....what....we have school buses and boats that block the parking spaces. TRUST ME...THIS PLACE SUCKS AND SO DO THE PEOPLE IN THE OFFICE.

LOL!!!! Manager cant even spell correctly!!!The "parameter" sucks around this ghetto!! Anonymous is right. Take your hard earned money and rent a house instead,it will cost you $100-$200 more a month, but it's well worth it.
