The community tried to do the right thing and that is install speed bumps to slow the traffic down; and I am thankful for that. However, they have failed to do the right thing and listen to my complaint for the past two months about the LARGE metal screws that are sticking up from each of them. I have asked the office SEVERAL times (Melissa, Christina, Maint. worker) to address the issue and I have been given the repsonse that "we will have somebody look at it". Well, needless to say, months have gone by and now I have had to replace two tires becasue of the damage the SCREWS did to my tires. Still, nothing done. I have called Arlington Properties, BBB, and attorney, and I am not going to stop until somebody in the little club house decides to do their job and FIX THE PROBLEM. What an insult to me as a resident that NOTHING has been done. Im also taking dated pictures for the attorney to show how long they ignore the issue.

I could not agree more. I to have asked that these speed bumbs be removed, and the response that I got was that people were drag racing and kids could be hit. I understand this concern however my car rides low to the ground not that I made this car that way it is just the style of my car. I dont mind having speed bumps however they get enough money from us each and every month that I would like to see them remove these speed bumps as they are to steep and like to see them replace them with actual asphalt rounded speed bumps that will not scrape the bottom of my car everytime I go over them. I really dont think it is to much to ask for. As for the children around here, they are always out running around unsupervised, once I even saw a child that was running around with a large stick and it scraped someones car and the child did not care. I would have had a come apart if this was my car. I think that the complex needs to send out a letter and advise people that yes this may be a gated community but there are still dangers and that they need to keep an eye on their children. I am becomming more and more dissatisfied with the community as a whole. Please Cypress Lakes you can do much better than it has been recently, when I first moved here it was basically a nice place to live and I did not mind paying as much as I do but as time has gone on my rent has gone up but the quality has gone down!! Restore Cypress Lakes to what it use to be.
