I have lived here for quite some time in comparison to alot of the neighbors who dont seem to stay more than 1 lease term. When I first moved to Cypress Lakes it was a nice place to stay, the staff was great, had a few slight problems but nothing major. However it seems like a more and more the place seems to be falling apart, the new speed bumps are a nightmare, yes I understand their purpose however I would like to see them removed and real speed bumps that are more curved be put in their place as these new speed bumps grind the bottom of my car everytime I go over them, not to mention that people with truks still speed right over them and it doesnt slow them down, they are more trouble than they are worth. Second it seems that latley they will let just about anyone move in here, I know this may come across as snobbish but really I pay alot of money to live here and some of the for the lack of a better word "getto" people they have let in here is crazy!! I understand that people have children and that great and all but the children around here run wild, with no adult supervision, managment needs to put their foot down. I know you can not do anything about parenting styles but when the children run up and down the steps yelling and screaming and the wall as we all know in an apartment are almost so thin you can see through them it is awful the lack of respect. The trash situation is another awful thing, If I could suggest something that would help with this, maybe offer a service that will pick up the trash from the bottom of the stairwells a couple times a week and charge a slight fee for this service it would make a world of difference and I am sure many people would do this. On a better note, the grounds are always kept up, the staff is always polite though they may not know you by name when you walk in you are always addressed quickly and politely, when I have a problem they always send maintenance to fix the problem and if they cant then they call out a contractor. I understand that there are alot of apartments in the complex and it is hard to keep up with every little thing, but just be aware that there are also alot of new apartments being built in this area and if things keep getting worse and rent keeps getting higher people will leave. Bring Cypress Lakes back to the way things once were.
