Well, here we are in August and the office has responded to the BBB Complaint stating they have "fixed the problem". Now you tell me....HAVE YOU SEEN THE SPEED BUMPS FIXED' NEVER. I am collecting information now for an attorney to address the issue becasue the office has failed to listen. More importantly, the office responded NOBODY has complained about this when I have proof of resident complaints. If you would like to join in, please e mail me back or leave your e mail address in a comment.

My family and I had the same issues with Cypress Lakes a couple years ago. In addition to having the exact same complaints as every other tenant who has posted on here, we also had safety issues. I feared for the safety of my children based on the loitering in the parking lot at all hours of the night. I feared for my family's safety because of domestic arguments that occurred below our apartment. Police were called and the individual was arrested. It was a mess!! We asked to break our lease after 3 months of living there because of all of these reasons and obviously management refused. We broke our lease anyway and now have a $3000 bad debt on our credit, which I have disputed and will continue to dispute. This is another Baton Rouge ghetto and the management is worthless!

I dont live in the complex. But i was riding through today b/c im seeking new residence and I went over the speed bump and it seems as if it is not bolted into the cement. And i said to myself i hope my tires are not messed up! I also saw the same bus parked that is pictured in this review. I didn't get a good vibe riding through b/c it reminds me of a project that is going to go bad. So this review confirms my thoughts.

I lived in Cypress lake a few years ago. I moved in right when it opened and was foolishly emamored by the multiple pools, the lake etc. It was by far the worst place I ever lived. People drinking all night in the parking lot, paper thin walls, terrible staff, etc., etc., etc. I was never as happy as the day I moved out of that hell-hole. I still have the new reviews sent to my e-mail and I always check back; amazed that things seem to be getting worse and worse.

The building I lived in was completely overrun with roaches. The management response? Cut back on how often they'd spray! The weekly trash heap was probably the most disgusting and unsanitary thing about living there. Perhaps the health department needs to be brought in.
There also don't seem to be any caps on the number of individuals allowed to occupy an apartment.
