This place is NOT what it seems to be at ALL! I THOUGHT this place had many perks but I was WRONG! I should have realized that when I came to sign my lease and the did not have it written up yet after they had a weeks notice I would be there to sign it. This was a problem because I was in another state and was only in town to sign the lease!

1. The pond in the front is kept STOCKED, that is completely FALSE! I have never once seen anyone put fish in this pond. People break down the fence to come fish in this "STOCKED" pond. People that dont live here follow you through the gate to come fish here.

2. The "security gate" does not work half the time, when it does work people drive in the wrong way because they dont have a pass to the gate. I have almost got in a head on collision because a car was coming through the wrong gate. Just about eveytime I come up to the gate there are a few cars waiting for me to scan my card so they can follow me through the gate!! The office does absolutely nothing about it. Someone was assaulted here, cars were broken into, and trucks were STOLEN!!! They advertise a gated community and it is NOT!

3. They have one dumpster for 100s of apartments and it is ALWAYS FULL. Trash is falling out of it, and not to mention it on the opposite side of the complex.

4. They supposably have monthly pest control, but I have ants on my countertop, and bugs on the floor. The ONE time they did have pest control come they just walked in without notice and my girlfriend was here by herself in the shower!

5. They have a "CAR CARE CENTER", which I thought would be nice, but they only have one car wash bay for 100s of apartments. I tried to wash my truck but the bay was taken so rather than wait 45 minutes for the other person to finish washing their car I came back to my apartment for a few minutes, when I went back it was taken again. I would rather go pay to have my car wash than spend my day waiting for my turn in the bay.

6. Other tenents leave weeks worth of trash outside there door which I have to walk over to get to my apartment because it is such an inconveinece to take the garbage out.

7. I hear random people outside my window at 2:30am, and they look like they are up to no good drinking beer, smoking marijuana. This is at least 2 times a week!


The ONLY reason I'm doing this rating is to help someone learn about this place BEFORE they move in here and sign the lease! I wish I would have came across this information before I got here. I would NOT be suprised to find out this place takes SECTION 8 tenents!!! That is what it feels like living here! I pay over $900 a MONTH for a ONE bedroom apartment and have to put up with this! This is completely rediculous!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE LIVE AT CYPRESS LAKE APARTMENT COMPLEX!!!!
