i currently live in these apts but am looking to move. i have had none of the vandalism problems people are referring to (but i drive a minivan). my apt smells of smoke when the people downstairs smoke. it is very loud as it is so close to the street if you can sleep throuh fire trucks, ambulances and police cars all through the night then it is not a problem. it is a nice apartment for the price but you can tell these apartments are old, you can hear the pipes in the walls whenever anyone does anything using water. the rent has not increased at all but the poll policy changed significantly and nothing i can do about it. Also i live near the front of the complex which look quite nice but i would not suggest going to the back at all as it is very run down and torn up. my petpeeve is the parking lot which is supposed to be one way in and one way out. None of the residents actually ever acknowledge this and if anyone hits your car because of there illiteracy and inablity to follow the signs your insurance has to pay to fix your car. They have abosoulutely no way of inforcing this policy or just choose not to because they can't be held accountable for anything. also they said no pets allowed in this community but the lady next door to me has a dog the pople in the bldg across from me has two dogs and some people have cats. also one of the back garbage dumpsters has a family of racoons livning in it and I'm quite sure those type of animals are dangerous.
