In 1998 when my wife & I moved in the complex, it was rated and we were told by the manager as having a majority of tenants being of an upper mobile/professionals type.




Well, beginning in late 2000 many non-professionals have moved in aparently for what we have heard under some type of subsidy from somewhere and are allowed to have incomes below 25K so they can share rent. Although there is nothing wrong about sharing rent, that in turn makes the place have a variety of people with different life styles, which our older neighbors and ourselves do not approve of. People like that would fit perfectly on a college area apt complex where they would pass by without sticking out like a sore thumb.

Specifically around our building, there is noise, Sunday night parties, people gathering outside our doors to constantly smoke leaving ash trays filled with cigarette butts, beer cans, large amounts of balcony stored stuff, etc, etc. I cannot attest for the rest of the property, but I know some of the people that gathered there are tenants in this complex.





Personally we are planning to move out of that place and so are many others we have spoken to about the "change" in tenants there.
