I have lived here for a little over a year. Since living here, I've been treated like a total piece of crap. My apartment was not "move in ready". We didn't know that since they refuse to give you a walk through. I had to wait an extra two weeks to even bring my animals in. My dish washer had red paint stuck in it. They would not replace it until I had made about 7 complaints. One maintenance man told me, "Well, there's a difference between wet and not draining." I kicked him out. They changed it two months later. I have had numberous neighbors fighting in the middle of the night. I've even had complete strangers bang on my door. I have people come in my place while I'm not here and steal things. Per to my contract, they aren't allowed to enter unles I'm home. The courtesy guard is nothing but a lazy police officer who wants to live here for free. His car never moves. My A/C unit broke in the middle of a heat wave. It was 110 degrees in my apartment and all they wanted to do was give me a heat extracter. It extracted nothing, all it did was push the hot air around. I have had homeless people dig through my garbage and strangers stop to ask me for money. To top it all off, my apartment was burglarized while I was in Arkansas. They took my grandmother's engagement ring, my digital camera and all of my dvds. I am positive it's a tenant. The courtesy officer didn't even come to my apartment, even though we called him twice. When I told management, only one of them cared. When I asked the manager if the courtesy officer was patrolling, she hung up on me. When my mother called to rip her a new one, she told her that it was my fault. That apparently, I didn't lock the door or the windows. It would not be difficult for anyone to break into these apartments. The window locks are from the 70's atleast. They did, however, put out a nice little note letting everyone know the break in occured and that I was to blame. A month later, another break in and another letter. Do not live here. Someone tried to break in my place for again the other night.



- An update -

As of Tuesday, October 23rd of 2007, I have been burglarized three times. Yes, I said THREE. My cat even got lose from the apartment when the "perp" entered. So, I'm leaving today. Apparently, Angie does not care about what I told her. The police officer did. He cares more considering that my parents are ex police officers. He thinks exactly what I think, that a maintenance man is coming in to steal my items. I am not leaving at all today unles my things are coming with me. My neighbor witnessed a man watching me leave yesterday. How odd is that' Out of every girl in the complex, he's waiting until I leave. I noticed that my new digital camera was stolen along with a towel. Why would anyone steal a towel' Then again, why would anyone steal my groceries' I am telling anyone who reads this, never ever move here. NEVER.
