Fountainhead

Cons:
1. the kitchen was built poorly. you cannot open the dishwashing machine and the cabinet under the sink the same time b/c they occupied the same open space. that also means that if you are using the sink, you cannot open the dishwashing machine b/c you're in the way. this was a problem for me, since i wash my dishes in the sink and then place it in the dishwashing machine to dry.
2. the floor was uneven pretty much everywhere. you can hear squeaking when you walk.
3. we had a mouse running around the apt but it died on its own.
4. the pool was pretty dirty but i think they tried to clean it when new management came in
5. the manager use to be pretty nice but then they got a new manager and she's not as friendly
6. there was a leak in the kitchen and they couldn't find the source of it.
7. the neighbors were really loud college kids and they trashed the premises.. there's broken beer bottle all over the stairs. the maintanence didn't really care when they saw it.
8. the upstairs was ridiculously hot all the time even though a/c was blasting and downstairs was cool.
9. I never personally had anything happen to me but one of my friends (who lives in the same complex) caught soemone trying to break into his car. when he screamed at them, they didn't leave. then, he had to threaten them with his shot gun.


Pros:
1. rent was super cheap
2. the maintance did always come. the fridge broke down on us and they gave us a new fridge. it only took a day.
3. parking says you will be towed, but we never got towed even without a tag.

the apt is right next to lsu bars. so its pretty laid back. alot of partying going on. this is a pro or con depending on what you like.
