What ISN'T wrong with this place'
The parking is crap, the buildings are crap, the management and maintenance is crap. It took SIX months for them to fix the air conditioning and a week to fix our oven (only because we called them every single day).
They only enforce rules that bring in more money, and now they've randomly added VIP spots, forcing everyone to park across the dark parking lot where we'll probably all get raped on the way.
There's a courtesy officer, although I think he's just a myth because I've never seen him.
And if your car gets busted into because of the poor lighting and security, you're on your own.

Only move here if you're into self-torture.

(Also, it took us almost two years to get our security deposit back. We had to write the BBB because they originally tried to charge us more upon moving out for repairs, cleaning and painting that had, in fact, already been done.)

Dear Anonymous, Have you came by in the last 2 years since you have moved out? SO much has changed! We have not randomly added VIP spots, those were a promotion for the 2006-2007 renewal season for residents who renewed their lease early. We have not had VIP spots since Fall of 2007. I am sorry that you seem to have had an unpleasant experience at Highland Plantation 2 years ago, but I would like to invite you to come check us out now!
