My experience was alright

I lived here for 2 years, until very recently.
My experience at Highland Plantation was acceptable for college living, I thought the management did an okay job. I want to give a big thanks to the maintenance guys because I know they were understaffed, but they were always nice and responded quickly when I contacted them.
HOWEVER. Security at Highland Plantation is BAD, BAD, BAD. In the 2 years time I lived there, I got HELD UP AT GUNPOINT on the complex grounds, and last Thanksgiving a bunch of people's cars (including my own) were busted into late at night. So a warning to you: there is NO SECURITY at Highland Plantation. No cameras, no gates, you are on your own.
That was my main problem.
Oher than that, it was fair for college housing. Slightly dirty carpet, dingy kitchen, sometimes noisy, but tolerable.
And the office staff were okay, too. No problems there.
