After living at HP for almost two year I applied to move into a larger apartment within the complex. Three months after signing a new lease and two weeks before I moved into the new apartment I was told that their policy had changed and I would have to show that I made 6 TIMES THE RENT!!!! When I pointed out how unfair this was I was basically told to get over it and to get out. I informed the leasing agent that I was reporting them to the BBB and was laughed at. When I logged into the BBB's website I found out why: the have an F- rating!!!! Save yourself the heart ache! They just don't care. I also had friends who were evicted because of hurricane damage. They were given less than a week's notice and their rent and deposits were not refunded until a lawyer got involved! Stay far, far away! 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn

I live at Highland Plantation, and just renewed my lease for another year...going on 4 years! I love it, and the new staff in the office is much better than they have had in the past. My roommate and I only had to make 3 times the monthly rent each to qualify...maybe you did't understand what they meant...

i dont understand how you say to stay far far away yet you haved lived at Highland Plantation for almost 2 years and would have been 3.... strange!
