I"m a resident of Kingston Point apartments. Don't get me wrong the gate & the pond will fool you. The maintenance sucks. If it rains to hard the sewage & plumbing backs up. There is no security beyond the gate. Anyone can come into the complex if they follow a car in. I have had so many repairs done for the same thing. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I have had packages left in the office for days. Instead of the office calling to let someone know they have a package it just sits on their floor. The complex is poorly lite at night. If you don't know where you are going you may miss the under light entrance. The parking is limited. The appliances or old and out dated. After hurricane Katrina I was blessed to have somewhere to stay. The complex didn't want to accept the FEMA info because it said they couldn't depend on the tenents paying the rent. I had to pay a deposit in which my credit was checked. That showed I had good credit and I provided them with information of my current working condition. I just don't know what else to say about this place.

My thoughts are this, 1st of all we have a courtesy officer that works on the property 40 horus a week. It is an armed security officer as a matter of fact. As to packages, we only take packages as a courtesy to our residents. It is not our responsibility to get in touch with residents to inform them they have a package. When someone drops off a package they are suppose to place a note on the residents door. Even then, some residents will let the package sit for weeks at a time. During Katrina I saw very few people with "good credit" but because the need for housing was so great, we lowered our standards and let people with no so good credit move in but no we did not nor do we now accept FEMA payments. I just don't know what to say about this resident except she was wanting something for nothing being a victim of the hurricane. We blessed her with a very nice place to stay, and like so many when they can't get their way about everything, they start complaining.

"The maintenance sucks. The complex is poorly lite at night. If you don't know where you are going you may miss the under light entrance. The appliances or old and out dated." There was no response to these comments so it must be true. Who want to live in a community in B.R. that has poor lighting at night? In 2008 who wants outdated appliances? And whoever posted the response has some frustrations or is angry on the inside because I sense a lot of attitude within that response. Why would you want to live somewhere where "management" or whomever has such an attitude?

I will have to agree with the resident on this one. I have been living in Kingston Pointe for over a year now. I recently decided to renew my lease. Though the rent seems expensive for the area, I am pleased with the lay out of my apartment hence my decision to remain there. However, there are alot of things that needs improvement. 1.the parking is HORRIABLE. The management team is aware of this issue however there has been no resolution. At this point, I dont think that there is much that can or will be done with the current circumstances. 2. The complex is DARK. There IS a lack of lighting. 3.The courtesy officer is LAZY. I have witness him sleeping and he really serves no purpose. On the other hand, maintenance is not that bad. Not great but not the worst either. It seems to me that energy is being put in all the wrong places. There is no point of posting worthless rebutals; instead lets figure out how to resolve the ISSUES.
