Just OK...

...goverment-issued design...standard Baton Rouge floorplans, moldings and carpets...but offers some of the bigger room sizes in the city...
...relatively new units so everything actually looks clean after you've cleaned it...plenty of parking and private garages are available...
...relatively small, boring pool...mimimalist landscaping...above-average weight/exercise room...gated community but invariably one of the three gates malfunctions and remains open through the night...
...maintenance is pretty prompt and courteous...management is friendly but ineffectual and petty...
...this draws a mixed crowd of LSU grad students eager to get away from campus noise...recent divorcees stranded without homes...and young semi-professionals like myself...a surprising amount of 40-something rednecks though...
...location is fair depending on your needs...Sherwood traffic isn't as bad as Essen or Bluebonnet traffic...but it's also not as central to good restaurants, nightlife and shopping...
...overall, this place is somewhat overpriced relative to comparable places in the city...the floorplans are fairly spacious but are totally devoid of any orignality...you won't likely ever hate living at this place...but there's also no chance that you'll ever love it. I'm at the end of a one-year lease and I'll be moving on...
...btw, I'm not including my name because I want my full deposit returned to me.
