I lived in Oakleigh from 1996-1998.

The apartment itself was nice, but I was really irritated when I arrived with a full moving truck to find that my apartment had been vacated and the old ragged/ripped/dirty carpet had been left in place, as had badly worn kitchen and bathroom vinyl floors.

With a truck full of my stuff, I had no choice but to live with the bad carpet.

They did replace the vinyl though.

Basically, a pretty good place with nice people.
