Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, it DID!!! I have been here for 6 months now and since the very first day I moved in, I have been extremely unhappy. Where do I start'' Oh, how about the BYOL (bring your own lights) policy. When I moved in the first thing I noticed was that there was no lighting in the bedrooms or the living room!! Turns out, you have to bring your own lamps and plug them into the wall.. ugh.. Oh, and it took them one week when I moved in to get the Entergy situation straight that they were responsible for tying up and I didn't have electricity for a week. Every time the tenants upstairs take a shower or bath, it leaks into our bathroom!!! and now there is mold on the ceiling and it looks like it is going to fall in. When they finally got out to fixing it, they just sprayed some paint over it and called it fixed. Needless to say the mold is growing again. And I have a young child!! Oh and that same bathroom has had problems with the toilet since i moved and it's been 2 months now and I can only use one bathroom. So after all of that I get a notice on my door today saying that the rent is increasing by $50!!!! So that is close to $1000 for this dump. And not to mention that the staff is god awful and there is only one maintenance guy. I am moving and so pissed I even considered taking out an add in the paper just to tell people not to move here!!!

DUHHHH! Apparently you didn't look at too many apartments in Baton Rouge before you leased your apartment. It is a rarity if you find one with overhead lights in the living room. Even some of the new places don't have lights in rooms. Here are some of the places I can 100% vouch do not have overhead lighting in some rooms: The Patrician, Savoy Plaza, Provincial, Crillon, Ole Towne, Jefferson Arms, Warwick, Bienville Towers, Fairway View, Place du Plantier, Azalea Point, Highland Plantation, Bluebonnet Place, Cobblestone. Just a few to name!
