Pinnacle Homes was a nice place to live, but the money hungry managers made it not a nice place to live. If you think you will have any chance to get your deposit back, think again. I rented at Pinnacle for 3 months and gave a 200 deposit to them. I understand this is a cheap deposit, but it was the principle behind it. First of all, they keep 100 dollars for cleaning fees when you move out. I thougt that was weird, but oh well. When it was time to move out we cleaned the apartment as clean as it was when we moved in. Only living there for 3 months, it was not dirty at all. We recieved a letter saying that because of a strong pet order, we were not receiving our deposit because they had to do a enzyme treatment that cost 100( the same amount as my deposit). This was very subjective and bogus. We did not even have a pet in the apartment. When we contacted the manager(), she said that we had signed off for a pet, so thats why it smelled like a pet. I know she is lying because my pet was not in the apartment, it stayed at my parents house. They were very cocky and acted like they did not care. I currently live in this complex and mgt is very unconcerned about tenants safety. In addition, mgt turn-over is way too much, only concerned about money. Due to Hurricane Katrina/Rita people have less options. Management is very sorry in mgt ability.
