Very Poorly Run. Seriously Avoid

I've been stuck at PDP for the past couple of years mainly because I could not find anywhere else to go. In that time, I have dealt with the most incompetant group of managers I have ever been forced to deal with. If it isn't the random fees that get anonymously placed on my door via rubber band, it's the fourth eviction notice due to the front office's inability to keep financial records-again. These apartments have not been updated, but yet the rent has increased $50 everytime I've renewed the lease. That brings me to the apartments themselves. Wow. If you have a problem, you're better off going to home depot yourself. I've had bucketing ceilings from leaky pipes upstairs (they fixed that simply by plastering the wet spot), a door that had 3cm gap to the outside when fully closed (new door, gap remains), and an air conditioner that went out in July (which I understand happens, but doesn't need to take 2 weeks to get a repair job because the guy at the front desk "misplaced" the work order that he wrote down on a sticky note). It pretty much comes down to this: Parking- front office are like nazis with parking tags, don't lose yours or you'll be forced to park in the visitor lot no matter what legitimate excuse you have. Noise- Ceilings buckle (in both units I've lived in) and the very sound of someone walking upstairs sounds like an army. Other than that, it's the usual college racket that you find anywhere else. Grounds- Sweet, a tree. You have got to enjoy the sounds of the groundscrew that comes to weedeed seemingly every afternoon. They also enjoy unrivaled staring at the girls as they walk from their cars to their apartment. Very professional and not creepy in the least bit. Safety- I have seen: Multiple car break-ins, including my girlfriends, a murder attempt in the parking lot with a handgun, countless arrests due to public fighting and intoxication. I honestly do not feel safe with my vehicle parked their any night, and every morning I feel anxious getting to my car wondering if, possibly, someone broke into the night before. Construction- not since..when was this place built' OH yes they redid the front office, it looks fantastic! Maintenance- We've been over this. Staff- Ditto. Overall- Being as neutral and non-bitter as possible, I wish I could set up a booth in front of this place and shout of its horrors to anyone who even entertained the thought of making it their home. Avoid this place. Do not visit friends here. You will more than likely end up with a fee notice attached to your car. I tell you this for your own good. I wouldn't wish the experience I've endured here on any soul, and there are many of those who share my sympathy. Just read the other reviews; you can see the general consensus.
