This place is terrible!!! NEVER LIVE THERE. After moving I noticed my air conditioner wasn't working properly so I put in a work order for it to be fixed...until it got to the point where I was in the office everyday complaining because no one would come out to fix it or they would tell me that they were coming the next day. They put a crappy window unit in and kept telling me they were working on it. They never fixed it, and it still didn't work on the day I moved out!! I recommend never getting a hamster or small caged animal because maintenance will come in your apartment while they are busing doing nothing for you and the next day you will have a notice on your door saying maintenance was there and that you owe $100 dollars for an "exotic pet" A hamster' Really' Where does it say that on the lease'! They changed the locks on my apartment and didn't tell me so when I came back from Christmas break I was locked out and had to call the after hours service to get someone to give me a key to my own apartment! 1 month before I move out I have a notice on my door showing that I owe them money for rent. However, I paid the rent in full upon moving in. Then they continued to tell me that my roommate had overpaid her rent in the beginning which caused me to overpay and so not only did I owe them money but I owed her 200 dollars. All this ONE MONTH before I move out. Excuse me'' Can no one tell me why they didn't notice this when I moved into this hell hole' Well apparently they had several different book keepers and no one could tell me how that happened except that the computer showed a deficit. Complete crap! Upon moving out I get my walk through with the manager and she tries to charge me $10 for dusty fans, $20 dollars for 2 missing lightbulbs, $55 dollars for an unclean oven!! I cleaned the fans, replaced the lightbulbs and scrubed the oven...but apparently it wasn't immaculate so I still had to pay $55 dollars for that! So STUPID! I ask them if all this can go away since my AC was broken the whole time I live there and they "check" their computers and there is not ONE work order for my broken AC for the whole year!! So after moving out I'm patiently awaiting my pet deposit back for my cat and it's been a month now and no deposit. I call today to find out what happened, and they mailed it to the wrong address!! Of Course! because no one in that office records anything on more than a post-it note! Absolute complete disorder in that office! No one in there has a clue what they are doing because I'm sure if they did the majority of these things could have been avoided had someone in there had a brain. As far as the apartment goes, there was mold spores in my air conditioning closet, mold around all around the windows. The tub never looked clean no matter how many times I bleached it. The carpet had mysterious purple stains all over the place. Not to mention the terrible insulation and how hot it got in there all the time! I could always hear my neighbors coming in and out of their apartments and their drunken fights at all hours of the night! You can never escape the sirens coming from Lee Drive or the rush of each passing car. Every time I left the apartment I was swamped with the overwhelming smell of dog crap because no one cleans up after their animals! It was disgusting because the yard people would come once a week and fling pooh everywhere! Very unsanitary and extremely disgusting! There was a shooting in the parking lot while I lived there so needless to say after that I never felt safe! The apartments are small and cramped as it is anyway so please if you do anything...DO NOT LIVE HERE!! You will regret it severely!!
