Terrible dismissive ownership and rude staff that does not call back as promised. This place is a royal pain - don't move here. Offers better deals to some who move in and merangles others into ridiculous charges. Another place to avoid if at all possible.

Asked to speak to Johnny's superior at Creekstone Builders (the owners of this apartment complex), and the property manager (Johnny) got on the phone and refused to let me speak to her superior and hung up on me again! Her tone and inability to let me get a word in edgewise were unacceptable, and I was not even allowed to leave a message for her superior to let him know about this. If she was so sure that she spoke to me in an acceptable way, then why wasn't I allowed to review this matter with her supervisor and let them determine this? I will avoid this company (and all apartments and homes they build in the future) from here on out as well as advising all other friends and family of this treatment so that they will avoid business with this company. Nobody deserves to be treated like this even if they are calling with a complaint! So if you want to live in an apartment community owned by a Huston builder that does not care about being respectful to the renters, don't say you weren't warned. Personally, one could not pay me to live anywhere that was so determined to cover up their own bad behavior that they would not allow a complaint when one was due. The apartment's management was equally disrespectful to me. All of this was justified by the fact that they have plenty of other renters and if I had a complaint, I could just rent elsewhere! Glad they have so much business that they don't have any need to be respectful. They won't have much business for long if they keep that up. Couldn't believe my ears, and it was shocking to be spoken to with total disrepect and then hung up on, not once, but twice!

At least the Gates never hangs up on anyone, and will give out the names of their superiors to allow any and all complaints to be made. My advice, rent across the street if you must live in this area.

This has certainly not been my experience at The Reserve. I have met the management and find the staff pleasant (although sometimes very busy with showing new apartments to prospects). Problems have been few and properly handled

This has not been my experience either. Also, if you knew the name of the owners of the complex why did you not try to contact them directly? Im sure they would had supplied you with the individual's supervisor. Additionally, what was the nature of your complaint? It would help if we had some more information other than just saying they hung-up on you.
