I have been a resident at Sherwood Acres for quite some time, I read these reviews out of curiosity mostly! Seems to me the people whom submit these ugly reviews may have had a negative expierence at some point but....primarily sound like something somewhere along the way just simply didn't go their way. The staff at my community has been there for SEVERAL YEARS. I find that in itself comendable. I have lived at apartments that have had all new staff in the office including the manager 3 times over 2 years time. The way I see it the ladies in the office at Sherwood Acres as well as their Maint crew are nice people doing the best they can. The moral of the story is, you can't please all the people all of the time. The folks are friendly and don't have an easy job handling all walks of life in a 600 plus unit community. Of course not every one can be happy all the time.

Once again, please give us some real reasons why you like it there. Who gives a crap if the people are nice? You should be asking yourself, Is the maintainance efficient? Is the security readily available and visible? Is is safe to walk around the complex at night? These are REAL issues that you don't address and there is no way you can back up. Wake up, you live in life's outhouse.

Hats off to you bunrned99!!! To the above answeres, No no no no. I hated living there the staff and the maintenance are all dopers. By the way the first response was from a staff memeber and I am suprised they could take time off from smoking to type it!!

Where is the humanity and realism here????? Wake up people The property seems to be understaffed which makes it even harder to do a job anywhere you work. Maintenance has been very efficient for me considering the state of urgency for your request. What do you want people to cater to you? When I leased no one ever told me there was security, they told me there were courtesy officers to answer minor calls like noise disturbances, If it were a true emergency call 911 ! Some moron typed a review stating they waited on a security for a break in in progress..... Duh, that only supports the lack of intelligence in that person, wouldn't you say? I would.If that is not a 911 emergency I don't know what is. Is it the worlds obligation to keep us safe anyway? Answer this question please, is it truly safe to walk around the majority of Baton Rouge at night since Hurricane Katrina? NO NO NO is the answer to that question!! Think its bad now, it seems to be getting worse. Once again, I say childish behavior, Allegations of the hateful kind from pea brained people with no life, like burned99 whom has posted nothing nice about any place they have lived or claim to have. Notice for you inteviewers out here, burned99 has moved around to alot of apartments in a very short time. Has posted all assorted generic non specifics about every place they commented on and even lived at at least 2 places at the same time. Really burned99, someone needs to pour some water on you and extinguish your anger rage and lies. Clearly burned99 lives in a state of "fantasy" where everything is always perfect all the time. For the record I have been here for 4 years seen the changes overcome us here since Katrina. I have only had issues with rowdy neigbors that were readily dealt with and the problem was resolved. I will however admit there are more undesirable people all around us, once again thank hurricane Katrina for the terrible gifts she has bestowed upon us. Is all around us.
