We chose Sherwood Acres because the girl who worked in the office was so friendly--of course she quit a week after we moved in because everyone else in the office is so mean. I lived in Sherwood Acres for 3 years and never ever had a good encounter with management. The day we moved in, there was a trail of about 200 ants running up the walls in the kitchen, livingroom, bedroom, and bedroom closet. The management proceeded to tell me that I must have caused the infestation--WE HADN'T EVEN BROUGHT ANYTHING INTO THE APARTMENT YET!!! They sent out pest control and told us everything was ok to move in. The next day I had ants all over my clothes, food, furniture, etc. It took them 4 months to get rid of the ants and they still came back every summer. Also, our 20 year old A.C. unit (when it chose to work) leaked on the carpet about 8 times a month every year during the months of April-October (I had even asked them to replace both the a.c. and the carpet.) Then when I moved out, they had the nerve to try to charge me for replacing the carpet!!! Also, they advertise that they have 7 pools, but only two are clean enough to use and are in working condition. They also advertise to have a fitness center--in the 3 years I lived there none of the equipment worked. Not to mention management is completely unprofessional... they will scream at you, hang up the phone when you call with an emergency maintenance situation, and "lose" your pet deposit. The rent was really cheap until after Katrina--we moved out because they tried to raise my rent from $465/mth to $595/mth. DO NOT MOVE INTO SHERWOOD ACRES. YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

Your most likely right. She is good for doing that for Willowbend and Forestwood as well.. what a sin and a shame
