Explanation of Southgate's Dishonesty

First of all, if you want a perfect explanation read all of the first ratings put on here, since they are ALL true, and they are ALL still true! But,the easiest way to put it is: BROKEN PROMISES...I've lived here for a year now. When I moved in I was promised their slogan of "High life, High expections". That's such a joke! The staff is so nice to you before you sign the lease, but BEWARE after you've signed. Once you move in, they could care less about what is going on. You can complain all you want and it doesn't make a difference. THE STAFF IS EXTREMELY RUDE and constantly tells you that everything is being taken care of. Well, no...the pool only opened in the end of June of this year when it was supposed to be opened a year ago, the clubhouse with the office, Spectrum fitness center and shops as well, and are STILL NOT OPEN. I get to hear the noise of people running down the halls at 3:00 in the morning, people in the pool, and every noise coming from every apartment above me, not to mention the dog that barks underneath my apartment. THE SOUNDPROOFING IS NON-EXISTENT. During finals week even, you would think it would be quieter because most people are students, but thats not even close. It gets even louder, people invite their friends over for "study groups" which turn into more of drinking games. Not to mention, I can even hear my roommate whispering if she is in her room with the door shut and I am in mine with my door shut as well! The elevators used to break atleast twice a week, but I don't even try to use them anymore, so I don't know how they are now. Everytime a toilet flushes you get to hear water rushing down the wall. The lights from the pool, the cabanna, and the apartments across the way shine into my apartment every night, making it look like 7:00 at night instead of midnight. And, when you need light to study you have to supply a ton of lamps, because the lighting on the fans are non-existent. The fire alarms seem to go off atleast twice a month. So, for atleast 20 minutes you get to enjoy the sounds of mind-numbing, deafening alarms. My apartment from the day I moved in has had holes, scratches, grooves etc all over the place, whether on the floors, walls, doors etc. and they still have yet to be fixed! The hot water barely lasts through filling up my "oversized tub" which is a joke because I'm only 5 ft. and can't lie down comfortably in it! Anyway, I could go on and on even more, but just read all of everyone elses problems...NO REVIEWS ARE LYING ABOUT ALL OF THESE PROBLEMS THEY ARE ALL TRUE.
