I have been living at South Gate for almost two months now and I am completely satisfied with the service I have recieved. The staff is friendly as are the maintenance. I had one small issue in the apartment and it was taken care of very quickly.
I have lived in many complexes and have never felt as comfortable as I do here. There are some unfinished aspects to the complex but I was aware of that before I moved in and I am sure that as soon as the features are complete I will be able to enjoy them.
Also I would just like to thank the staff for all that they did this past week following the hurricane. Many of the apartments were without electricity and they furnished drinks and food everyday for the residents. Not too many companies do that sort of thing. So yes I would totally recommend living here.

I agree. Southgate was wonderful to their residents during the hurricane. I have lived here for over a year now and, I admit, things were a little frustrating earlier when almost everything was unfurnished. However, over the last few months the complex has really started to shape up. Things are being finished, new and extra staff members have been hired and, honestly, it's become all that I'd hoped it would be when I moved in a year ago. Thus, "Yay Southgate. Thanks for coming around." :)

Yeah, I love it when the apartment staff not only writes a review for their own complex, but responds to it as well. Good job, dorks. You're not fooling anyone.
