Even after $1000 worth of David Yurman jewelry was stolen off the counter top of my apartment, it still took me awhile to figure it out. But now that I've come home several times to find random people in my home doing, uh, "check ups" it has all become clear. The management of this complex is going shopping in my apartment. Please, if you value your hard earned belongings and your safety, live somewhere else.
Oh, and this guy they recently hired is known by my friends and I as the "Rapist." He's a drunk and very scary and aggressive.

I normally do not respond to these ratings because from bits and pieces of what is said in them, we have determined that about 95% of the negative ratings are being written by the same group of about 5 people who submit these negative reviews over and over again. BUT . . . I will say in response to this one, that no one has reported any such stolen jewelry to the office. If I had $1000 worth of jewelry missing from my apartment and felt that the staff of my apartment community were responsible, I would certainly report that to someone who could take the appropriate action. We encourage you, the writer of the last response, to do the same. Along those same lines, if you have knowledge of an employee or a contractor/visitor that we should be aware of, please contact the office. We do not want either of these types of issues to occur on our property. Reporting such important issues to us rather than this web site would certainly be a far more productive resolution to your concerns. I will not respond to any additional responses to this. Please understand that my intention is not to challenge the writer, but rather to encourage her to please make us aware of any problems in a more direct manner. Then if she wants to publish the information, we are fine with that. In January, we had an independent survey company do a survery of Southgate residents. According to those survey results, 61% of our residents indicated that they plan to renew.
