Southgate is not the place you would like to live. They have the most petty fines and they also have their own entergy company that shuts off the electricity if your bill is one day late. It is impossible to have a normal experience their due to the strict and over the top rules they have. If you have a pet, do not move here unless you want to buy your dog a pet stroller so you can bring it in the hall. They also claim to have a pet park but it is a joke. The pet park consists of a fenced grass area that is always flooded. They do everything they can to take extra money from you, as if the rent wasnt already outrageous. The only thing decent about southgate is that no burgular would want to break in because it would be too much of a hassle. However, no friends ever want to come over because it is too hard to park and get to my apartment- Oh and the intercom to let your friends in is always broken. DO NOT LIVE HERE!

You have a bill with a due date. If you fail to pay the bill by the due date, you are in DEFAULT. The electric company has no obligation to keep your electricity on if you don't pay your bill. Welcome to the "real world".

In response to the due date on her bill, there have been times where my bill was not delivered until AFTER the due date. The mail carrier has a hard time sorting the mail and I often get mail from the wrong apt. number, or right apt. number but the wrong apt. complex.
