I hate this place

First, I would never recommend Southgate to anyone.
*The staff has proved to be beyond incompetent. Additionally, they will flat out lie to us. After signing my lease, I was contacted more than three times by the office before I moved in, with them saying that I had not completed my forms. I met with them on three separate occasions, and it turned out they had lost all of these forms because I had copies of the signed forms. In total, they probably lost at least 1/3 of my 40-ish pages of paperwork. In the span of one month, at least 4 people that we had dealt with were fired, and the current staff has no idea what they are doing.
*The day I moved in, my apartment was absolutely FILTHY. The blinds, air conditioning vents, and fans were literally black with dust. The toilets and showers are somehow permanently stained and look disgusting. Our refrigerater, dishwasher, and microwave were also really dirty, and our water was unusable because it was so dirty and smelly. Several of the doors also would not shut and one was off the hinge. Our patio was muddy and our storage closet was full of things that the previous residents left behind and was also full of mold.
*The halls and stairways of this place are not kept up at all. There are stains all over the carpet and animal poop will often sit in the hallways for mre than 3 or 4 days. There is always a funky smell in the hallways and stairs. The 2 staircases in closest to my apartment have all of the following in them at this moment, and most of them have been in them since I moved in three weeks ago: vomit, beer cans, chewed up dog bones, cigarettes, broken glass, and other random pieces of trash. After a week of being here with none of this being cleaned, I called the front desk and they said it would be taken care of. That was 2 weeks ago and nothing was taken care of.
*There are random power outages.
*On the outside, Southgate looks like an amazing resort that is very secure
(on that note, more than one of the outside doors is broken where people can just walk in, and the gates often stand open as well)
--When we visited, everyone was really nice and I thought this would be a perfect place to live. DO NOT LIVE HERE. My boyfriend lives at Cobblestone at Essen and I really wish I'd lived there. Citiscape at Essen is also supposed to be nice.
