I have lived here for over a year and since the staff changed recently my stay has only gotten better. Things get done promptly if you simply call the front desk, all the staff are very nice and willing to help you fix any problem you may have. The apartments are expensive but you definitly get the quality you pay for. The apartments are extremely spacious with huge walk in closets! The parking is great because you can just drive up the gargage to your floor. The bus stops right in front of the buildings and you have easy access to Definitions fitness center if you get a membership. The apartment walls are also concrete and therefore you cannot hear in between apartments. I absolutely love living here and I'm not looking forward to finding a new place to live when I graduate....if you are reading reviews people have previously posted you must take into consideration that the staff has changed and on top of that these people must not have read their lease to know what is acceptable and what is not. Southgate takes pride in their community and expects people to do the same. If you get a fine, you probably deserved it! There are some inconsiderate people who only have issues with the complex because they are somehow inept at followin simple rules, clean up after youself, your pets, and take pride of your apartment. These people do not even deserve to live here! I love it here and have recommended it to everyone I know!

Wow you must have your nose stuck up the staff's butt if they really are that good to you. But, I can say your butt kissing won't help when it comes time to move out. I tried to be all buddy buddy with the staff too, hoping to be on their good side after all of these reviews, but needless to say the minute I told them I was not resigning my lease for the next year, they only threw me to the curb and kept my money.
