I have lived here for almost a year. Since the management changes and other personnel changes have occured I have noticed a big difference. The staff is committed to keeping the residents happy and they are committed to this complex. So much work was done to the grounds this spring, the grounds are just beautiful.

I have never had an issue with the staff or with the maintenance crew. All of my questions and requests have been addressed in a professional and timely manner. I have made special requests to the staff and they have gone out of their way to meet my needs. I can't say enough about the staff - friendly, competent, courteous, professional etc. Thank you for all you guys do! We chose Southgate because of the pet policy. We were very grateful to find a complex that would accept our large dog.

The only downside to living here is the irresponsible, disrespectful, immature, spoiled brats that live here (this is not the majority) who don't want to take any accountability. I have read the reveiws and in many of the issues discussed it is the residents themselves or other residents and their friends who are at fault.

The complex has rules which we all need to live by. I am also happy to report the management is now responsive to complaints and inforcing the rules. Thank you! bYr9ljUwtCbMRXE8dRDC

I agree with most of your post. As far as the grounds go I will take pictures and post them of how beautiful the grounds ARE NOT. They have mud all over due to the "reconstruction" or patching up of all the building. It's very noisy due to all of the construction going on and has been going on for YEARS now.

Hmmm...employee anyone? Honestly, if you have a friend that lives at this place, ask them, they'll tell you why they are moving out next year!
